For all those who say that you’re not trans if you’ve ever doubted transition.
Wow, just saw Crossing Jordan season 1 episode 6 “believers”. I swear in this shows I’m watching lately I’m running into transsexuals everywhere. Most of the time I don’t like it because of the blatant disrespect. In CJ there’s a trans woman (Denise) part way through transition. I feel like they did a much better job of addressing the trans issue and bringing opposing views to the forefront. They also did a much better job than other shows with the actor’s hair. No obvious wig or prostitute makeup or slutty fluffy clothing. She was dressed sensibly and looked nice.
Overall I think it was done tastefully and I was incredibly impressed by some of the lines. They didn’t just “flash a tranny” for shock factor, they took the time to dive into it and struggle with the morality of transition, offering views from both sides. The view from a Jewish Rabi almost makes me want to become Jewish. I was really impressed. So what happened?
*spoiler alert* If you want to watch the episode find it and watch it now cause if you read further you’re gonna get the whole nine yards on Denise and Macy.
WTF is this? Found an “uncyclopedia” that is about how to spot a transsexual person. Some excerpts below.
Many indications give away the transgender status of these women, among which are their feet, the way they walk, their hooters (or lack thereof), their shoulders, their larynxes, hands, cosmetics application, jargon, and coyness.
If you are unable to flee, you can pretend that you are gay. Transsexual women, ironically are only interested in people who are interested in women.
Only a transsexual, and even then only an extremely horny and sex-starved transsexual, would ever date you.
This ‘estrogen bath’ we are all a part of has caused amazing and wonderful changes in our environment. A new being has emerged…the transsexual! These beautiful creatures can be seen all over the world.
Give the girl the cold shoulder if her shoulders are wider than her hips, because, again, most likely, she wasn’t born with a vagina. Genetic women’s shoulders-to-hips ratio is typically more in proportion to one another.
Does she stride in style, have a graceful gait, exhibit a womanly walk? Or does she look like a model on a catwalk (many of whom, incidentally, are transsexuals), trodding like a goosestepping commie, with too much “precision” and obvious rehearsal in her rollicking walk?
Actually…you maybe VERY attracted to her. Transsexual pre-op women offer straight men a very powerful sexual experience…unlike a woman can provide. Ideally it is best to have one of each…
I’m posting this again. She really deserves it. One of the most amazing voices! Its hard enough to sing in one set of keys, but wow. The crowd reaction alone at 1 minute in is amazing. Incredibly inspirational! This happened this year, 2011.
Bell Nuntita is a Thai transgender singer, entertainer and radio DJ. She became popular after a performance during her audition on Thailand’s Got Talent which took place on March 13, 2011. During the audition Nuntita showed her ability to switch her voice from feminine soprano to male baritone.
Nuntita was part of a TV show called Venus Flytrap Search for the Missing Puzzle in 2007. As one of twelve contestants, she competed to take the place of two former cast members. Nuntita and another contestant by the name of Mew won the competition and became part of the Kathoey band Venus Flytrap.
Nuntita was convinced to audition for Thailand’s Got Talent by a talent scout by the name of Anucha “Chi” Lanprasert. It was Nuntita’s idea to surprise the crowd by first singing in a feminine voice before switching to a masculine baritone midway through the audition. She had won popular vote and high compliments from the judges, granting her entrance to the finals of the show Thailand’s Got Talent.
After Nuntita’s audition video appeared on Youtube and other sites, the video quickly went viral. Nuntita appeared on multiple Thai talk shows and had many nationally televised performances. She has appeared in TV shows such as “Mum Show” hosted by Petchtai Wongkamlao where she spoke of her transgender process. She said she participated in the army conscription lottery but did not draw the commission to enlist in Thailand’s army. Nuntita was also featured on the front cover of the Who Weekly Magazine.sweet zombie jesus! what a fucking voice!! <3 <——-she got the first one ov thoes i’ve ever done
lmao I couldn’t have said it better myself. This story isn’t getting nearly as much attention as it deserves! Her voice is phenomenal! The crowd’s reaction alone at 1 minute in is amazing. Truly an inspiration listening to her. :)
